NB-IoT is a new cellular radio access technology specified by 3GPP in Release 13, Release 14 and Release 15 to address the fast-expanding market for low power wide area connectivity for IoT applications. The mobile industry is rapidly establishing NB-IoT as a global coverage solution that enables customers, such as application service providers, to deploy and operate their services worldwide. Lekha’s NB-IOT technology can be used “in-band”, utilizing resource blocks within a normal LTE carrier, or in the unused resource blocks within an LTE carrier’s guard-band, or “standalone” for deployments in dedicated spectrum. The reference design is available on TI DSP SoC as well as platform independent ANSI C code.
- 3GPP Release 13 and 14 compliant
- Standalone mode of operation enabling Narrow channel standalone deployment
- Integrated on Lekha’s Reference SDR Hardware and COTS SDR Hardware
- Interoperability tested with 3rd party UE’s and Test Equipment
