The Lekha EMS (“EMS”) is an Element Management System that provides remote provisioning, configuration, fault handling and performance monitoring of Lekha 5G ORAN network functions (NFs). It interconnects with 3rd party Network Management Systems (NMS) using Rest APIs.
The EMS can be deployed on a single server or in a high-availability (HA) active-standby mode, with a pair of servers. In addition, Disaster Recovery (DR) is supported with a geographically redundant EMS server.
The EMS will be enhanced into a Service Management and Orchestration (SMO) node, providing Non-Real Time RAN Intelligent Controller (Non-Real Time RIC) and rApp capability, connecting to a Near-RT RIC with an A1 interface and ORAN O-Cloud node via the O2 interface.
